Beaches:                                                                                                                                                 There is a small cove approx 600 mtrs down the hill from the villa. Also if you follow the coastal path on the right of the cove, a five minute walk will bring you to a very nice small sandy beach with a bar. Both are accessible by car. 

There are larger beaches in Calpe or Moraira that are only a ten minute car journey.

There are numerous very large supermarkets in Calpe such as Caprabo, Mercadona and Lidl etc.

Resort Information

Moraira Just south of Benitachell, was once the sleepy fishing port for Teulada. Now it is a delightful holiday resort. Careful town planning has put a stop to high rise buildings, and the surrounding hills are dotted with whitewashed villas. Moraira’stwo fine sandy beaches at Portet and Ampolla are complemented by numerous rocky coves where snorkelling is a delight. In the evening wander around the village and port or spend a Friday morning browsing through the stalls at the weekly open-air market. Restaurants and bars of all types abound in and around Moraira, and Jávea to the north or Calpe to the south are just a few minutes drive away.

Heading south on the coast road from Moraira, we come to the areas of San Jaime, with its nine hole golf course, Still heading south we come to the villa situated close to Fustera with its small bay and beach, the tiny harbour at Bassetes, and finally Calpe where the Peñon d'Ifach rises majestically up out of the Mediterranean. Calpe's two main beaches, the Cantal Roig and the Playa Arenal are widely known for their fine sand. Together with the other two beaches, la Fossa and the bay of Gasparet, Calpe offers many kilometers of excellent swimming and surfing possibilities.

The pretty village of Altea is only a few minutes away. Here you can wander through the cobbled streets of the old town, enjoy the artisans’ market in the church square (June-September), dine in one of the many delightful restaurants or simply ‘people watch’ at any one of the outdoor bars and restaurants. The Tuesday market along the sea front is a ‘must’. Here you will find an amazing selection of shoes, handbags and other leather goods.

Finally there is Benidorm - you will love it or hate it - but it is worth a visit. Once a little fishing village, it is now one of the most important tourist centres in Europe, with an enormous number of hotels, restaurants, bars, discos and entertainment for the whole family. It is of course the home to TERRA MITICA Spain's newest and biggest theme park -  a great day out for all the family. Benidorm is withIn twenty minutes of the villa - near enough if you want to visit, and far enough away if you prefer to avoid it!

The Costa Blanca is without doubt a golf players paradise. There are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca, all within a 2 hour drive of Benidorm. Some have been designed by Seve Ballesteros, some regularly play host to Spanish national championships, some are even ranked regularly amongst the top courses in the world.
